Khollian is a village-situated 25k.m. away from Sugnu Parish. People of this area belong to Zou Tribe. Seeing the need of the people of the locality, we opened a convent on March 24, 1995. Rev. Fr. Mani, the parish priest and the people gave a very warm welcome to the sisters. The sisters of the first community are Rev. Sr. Merlin and Sr. Bright.  The work at the center started in a very humble way. At the beginning sisters stayed in the boarding house that was attached to the parish quarters. Sisters are   engaged in teaching in the school, parting catechism to the students, Running a dispensary, giving health.

education, visiting the sick and the old people, conducting prayer services and family prayer and Rosary during the month of May and October are some of the apostolate of the sisters working in the center. Though the work was enjoyable in the beginning due to the ethnic clash and the problem of insurgency made the apostolate difficult. As the Indian Army entered in the scene, noise of gunshots were heard everywhere. The entire village became a battlefield. The situation is peaceful at present.
