The Salesian Province of Dimapur welcomed the collaboration      of the Franciscan Clarist sisters in the mission of evangelization and education at Don Bosco College Maram. Accepting the invitation we started the community with Rev. Sr. Anit and the two students Sr. Alphi, Sr. Angela Ngaihte. The sisters took care of the girls in the hostel. The present Assisi Hostel was inaugurated on October 4th 2002. At present we have about 150 hostellers in the hostel. Rev. Sr. Deepa is the present superior of the house. Three of our sisters are engaged in teaching in the college and other three are doing their studies.  They collaborate with management in every activity of the college and parish. This hostel provides opportunity for young women in faith formation and personality development.
