Bishop Thomas Pullopillil, Bishop of Bongaigaon,  invited us to start a centre in his diocese. His desire was to start a day care centre for the Mentally Challenged Children. Responding to his invitation we started a centre in the diocese of Bongaigaon at North Salmara, Bakholgaon, on 6th March 2007. The first members were Sr. Syra and Sr. Lisa. First year sisters were engaged in house visiting, taking tuition for the English and Assamese Medium children, taking care of the drop out students etc. Three of our sisters are trained to take care of the mentally challenged children.

On July 16, foundation stone was laid for the day care centre by Rt. Rev. Bishop Thomas and in the month of September the sisters start taking care of the MR, and Deaf and Dumb children. They started with eight children from near by places.Sr. Alphy, Sr. Divya, Sr. Emil Therese and Sr. Christina Paul are fully engaged in this special school. Now the school building is completed. At present the school functions with 35 children . 25 of them are in the hostel and the rest are coming from outside.
